Broken Cast, 1935

Although Olive Cook was adamant about the date attributed to this (1935) it is much more reminiscent of Edwin's later work, especially that prepared for the British Museum collection. Nevertheless, he was producing some similar work in the 1930s, much of it inspired by his admiration of the work of Eugene Atget.
