Is the almost Yoda-inspired name given by the suicidal, lost-the-plot Labour Party in the UK to their new website, Flickr enterprise, Facebook group, Twitter stream, you name it, they'll be there.
The point of this venture is to encourage the general public (presumably mostly those who are Labour supporters) to post photographs that illustrate the beneficial changes that fourteen years of Labour government have brought us.
In principle, this is a good idea. There are many good things that have come about as a result of their three terms, but there are arguably just as many, if not more, not-so-good things. As we remember the bad much more than we do the good, you can imagine the PR team at New Labour thinking that they were on to a really good scheme to redress the balance.
The things being posted to the Flickr group are the most interesting. Some are posting their 'Stop & Search' records issued for being stopped by the police for taking photographs; some are posting pictures relating to why they no longer live in Britain; others choose to post really quite appealing photographs captioned to represent the views of the disillusioned and disenfranchised.
Don't get me wrong here, I unashamedly admit to having been a Labour supporter all my life but - to borrow from the X-Files - these days 'I want to believe'. It's not the ethics and principles of the Labour party that I have lost faith in, it's the people that purport to promote them.
