7 on 07/07/07

I stumbled upon (almost literally) this piece of marsh grassland on the Suffolk coast during a trip there in 2007. I found the textures and wind-sculpted appearance of the tough sea grass quite extraordinary, and decided to make a series of seven pictures during a seven minute period, it being the 7th day of the 7th month.
This is the result, designed to be hung in a horizontal sequence of small prints.
