I
spent a lot of time on the road crossing refuge between two busy lanes of
East Road to get this picture. I could not quite get far enough back
to include all the features I wanted and had no 90mm Super Angulon lens
in those days. I would have liked more of the roof line and more space
on the right edge. Nevertheless, I've always been very keen on it as a image,
with the dancing skeleton mimicing the figures in the crossing lights.
In large print form, the 5x4 negative reveals a wealth of detail in
the goods visible in the shop window.
